Hawthorn Investments: Needham New Construction It has been a little while since we last checked in at our blog; we have enjoyed a busy few months in  Needham .  Our  Mayflower  and  Savoy  projects in  Needham  are both in the final stages and are close to completion.  The new owners at Savoy moved in last week after we received the certificate of occupancy from the Needham Building Inspector on Thursday.  We are working our way through the punch list at Savoy, which is always fun at the end of the project.  Over at Mayflower we are also very close to the finish; here the new owners have decided to covert from oil to gas fuel and we are waiting for NStar to put in the new gas line before we convert the boiler and hook up the new cook top.

We would also like to announce Hawthorn Investments next project at  41 Dawson Drive  in  Needham .  Hawthorn Investments is closing on this home at the end of May and we are currently working with the architect on designing a new custom home.  The new home will enjoy many of the features of our latest projects as we try to stay on top of new building techniques and new energy innovations.  Among the several positive attributes of this location, 41 Dawson Drive is within walking distance of Broadmeadow school, as well a the commuter rail.
