Run in the Mud for Charity!!

February 26, 2018

We are raising money and awareness for the  Needham Community Council  in a fun and exciting way.  We want to challenge our company and community to rise to the occasion and compete together in the Tough Mudder Boston ( half ), while raising money for an amazing organization that has supported the Needham community since 1930.

You can support our quest to help the  Needham Community Council   in two ways (or both):

1) Sign up and run with us in the  Half Tough Mudder Boston  (on June 23).   Hawthorn  will donate $75 for every person that joins our team.  You can sign up for the event here…

Once you  sign up.  We can add you to our team.

2) You don’t have to run in the mud with us, but you can donate directly to support the  Needham Community Council.  You can donate here by clicking on the  DONATE  button at the upper right section of this page.

The Needham Community Council  is a private non-profit organization which supports people in Needham who have under-met health, educational or social needs and promotes volunteerism, community and a sense of shared responsibility. They provide short term, emergency assistance of a nonmedical nature and a variety of programs to support all ages within the Council’s capabilities through our: ESL [English as a Second Language] Tutoring, Medical Transportation Program, Food Pantry, Thrift Shop, Medical Equipment Loan Program, CAP [Child Assault Prevention] Program, Nursing Home Boutique, Holiday Outreach, Needham Community Resource Guide, Volunteer Opportunities, Student Volunteers & Partner Programs.

Tough Mudder Half   is 5 miles of mud and epic obstacles specifically designed to test your teamwork and toughness. Tough Mudder Half is not a race — it’s an epic teamwork challenge. With the help of your fellow Mudders, you’ll overcome best-in-class obstacles and adrenaline-pumping challenges. And you’ll do it all while having the most fun you’ve had in recent memory. That finish line beer’s never tasted so sweet.
